Predictions are the quickest way to play in the Drem fantasy section. Instead of drafting eleven players you answer a single question about a match — yes or no.

What a prediction looks like

Each market is a statement about a fixture. These were live when we checked, on a Pakistan v Sri Lanka T20 international:

QuestionYesNo
Any player to take 3 or more wickets?59.8% · 1.63x40.2% · 2.43x
Sri Lanka to hit 12 or more fours?73.5% · 1.33x26.5% · 3.69x
Pakistan to hit 8 or more sixes?63.4% · 1.54x36.6% · 2.67x

Reading the numbers

  • The percentage shows how the market is leaning towards each side.
  • The multiplier is what a winning stake is multiplied by. ₹100 on “No” at 3.69x returns ₹369.
  • The two move together: the more a side is backed, the lower its multiplier.
  • A Switch Odds/Price control changes how the numbers are displayed.

Lock time and settlement

  • Every market has a lock time — a countdown after which no more predictions are accepted.
  • After that the market shows Market Closed and the result is Pending until the event decides it.
  • Filters at the top sort markets into Trending, Cricket, Football and All.

How to think about a prediction

  1. Turn the multiplier into a break-even rate: 1 ÷ multiplier. At 1.33x you need to be right more than 75% of the time to come out ahead; at 3.69x, a little over 27%.
  2. Ask whether you really know more than the market. Venue, weather and the bowling attack matter more than the names involved.
  3. Prefer questions you can reason about from numbers — boundary counts on a small ground, wickets on a turning pitch — over hunches.

Predictions sit alongside full contests. If you want the longer game, start with fantasy cricket; for straight odds on a result, see Drem Sports.
