Rummy formats on Drem

  • Points — the fastest format. Every point has a fixed rupee value, and each deal is settled on its own.
  • Deals — a set number of deals, with the winner decided at the end.

Points tables and entry levels

Points tables seat 2 to 6 players. These were the entry levels on offer when we checked:

EntryValue of 1 point
₹8₹0.10
₹20₹0.25
₹80₹1
₹160₹2
₹400₹5

The point value tells you what a hand can cost. At the ₹80 table each point is worth ₹1, so losing a deal by 30 points costs ₹30.

Cash, coins and tournaments

  • Cash — real-money tables like the ones above.
  • Coins — tables played with coins instead of cash, useful for learning the interface.
  • Tournament — scheduled events with their own entry and prize structure.

Rummy rules in brief

Indian rummy is played with 13 cards. The aim is to arrange all of them into valid groups and declare before anyone else does.

  • A sequence is three or more consecutive cards of the same suit. A pure sequence uses no joker.
  • A set is three or four cards of the same rank in different suits.
  • A valid declaration needs at least two sequences, and at least one of them must be pure.
  • On each turn you draw one card — from the closed deck or the open pile — and discard one.
  • Cards left ungrouped when someone else declares count as points against you.

Tips for new players

  • Build the pure sequence first. Without it nothing else in your hand counts.
  • Discard high cards early if they are not part of a group — they cost the most points.
  • Watch what opponents pick up from the open pile; it tells you what they are collecting.
  • Start at the coin tables or the lowest entry until the interface feels natural.

Rummy rewards

  • Rummy play counts towards your VIP level and earns cashback of 0.3% to 1%.
  • Rummy wagers are included in the Refer & Earn commission.
